PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a recently popular portable terminal that employs power saving control of bringing a CPU to a sleep state except during processing and bringing it back to an awake state at the timing of processing takes predetermined time to bring the sleep state to the awake state and involves delay in processing after recovery from the sleep state.
SOLUTION: When power saving control brings a CPU to a sleep state, if a timer has been started to show the next processing timing, a dummy timer that will time out at the time that is the timing minus predetermined time for recovery to an awake state is started to ensure that the CPU is in an awake state at the original processing timing. Timeout processes in a tolerance range are batched to save resources used.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
|
