PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array antenna unit in which the number of wirings can be reduced. SOLUTION: A pair of variable capacity diodes D1 and D2 of an electronically steerable wave director array antenna unit are connected in series in mutual opposite directions, and resistive elements R1 and R2, having a resistance value that is sufficiently large, in comparison with input impedance of the array antenna unit in a radio signal frequency between a coaxial cable 30 being a transmission line for transmitting a radio signal received by a feed element A0 and the respective variable capacity diodes D1 and d2. A resistive element R101, having a resistance value that is similarly sufficiently large is connected between an antenna controller 10 for outputting control direct current voltage and the coaxial cable 30. After the control direct current voltage has been superimposed and transmitted to the coaxial cable 30 from the antenna controller 10 via the resistive element R101, the control direct current voltage are applied to the variable capacity diodes D1 and D2 via the respective resistive elements R1 and R2.
