PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine minimizing a frequency of paper outputs. SOLUTION: The facsimile machine provided with a function of transferring images received by facsimile to a specific computer connected through a network is premised. The facsimile machine is provided with: a first detection part for detecting whether the facsimile apparatus can access the specific computer; and a transfer part for transferring images received by facsimile to an external medium when access to the specific computer is impossible. Consequently only when the access to the specific computer is disabled and access to the external medium is also disabled, the images received by the facsimile are outputted to paper.
