PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing capable of preventing loosening of a screw part which may occur at first as mechanism of breakage of a holder of pin type and improving performance of the holder. SOLUTION: This roller bearing is provided with the holder 1 of pin type having a plurality of pins 7 whose both end parts are connected with a pair of annular side plates (4, 5) and a roller 6 supported rotatably at the outer periphery of the pin 7 and rolling freely between inner and outer rings. One end part of the pin 7 is fixed to the annular side plate 5, the other end part is screw-fitted and fixed into a female screw 4a provided in the annular side plate 4 by providing a male screw 7a, and a slit 10 is formed over a screw-fitting part from an outer peripheral face around the female screw 4a in the annular side plate 4. A means for preventing loosening of screw-fitting by contracting and enlarging slit width is provided on the annular side plate provided with the slit 10. To explain concretely, the loosening prevention means is formed by screw-fitting a female screw 4c and a bolt 9 in the annular side plate 4. In addition, the loosening prevention means is a wedge driven into the slit or is formed by screw-fitting a tapered screw provided from an outer side of the slit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
