PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for dentistry capable of satisfying requirements such as translucency in aesthetic properties required for an artificial tooth, a restorative dental material, a crown, a bed for the dentistry or the like comprising a composite resin. SOLUTION: The composition for the dentistry contains a resin matrix monomer, an organic filler and mica fine particles having 0.05-50μm average article diameter as an inorganic filler, and further optionally one or more kinds of inorganic powders selected from the group consisting of barium glass, alumina glass, potassium glass, silica, synthetic zeolite, calcium phosphate, feldspar, aluminum silicate, calcium silicate, magnesium carbonate, quartz, amorphous colloidal silica made by an atomized process, amorphous colloidal alumina, amorphous colloidal titania and amorphous colloidal silica made by a wet process, or an organic-inorganic composite filler in combination thereof.
