PURPOSE:To accomplish the titled repair with good smoothness, by filling into the cracks, recesses, etc., of a construction base material a repairing putty prepared by kneading a binder, extender pigment, glass powder with specific particle size, water-retentive agent and water in specified proportions, followed by drying. CONSTITUTION:The objective repair can be accomplished by filling into cracks, recesses, etc., of a construction base material, a repairing putty prepared by kneading (A) 20-40pts.wt. of a binder (e.g., alkyd resin), (B) 50-70pts.wt. of an extender pigment (pref., pearlite with such a particle size as to be 150-200 mesh), (C) 10-40pts.wt. of glass powder with a size 100-200 mesh (pref., in granular or flaky form), (D) 0.1-10pts.wt. of a water-retentive agent (e.g., a PVA with a saponification degree 85-95%), and (E) 10-30pts.wt of water, followed by drying.
