The bracket for connecting two mounting profiles has two arms (4, 5), each of which is fixed to a different profile. Two lugs (8) on each arm fit into the profile, but still allow the bracket to slide along it. A locking nut (21) between the lugs is turned to lock the arms into the profiles. An independent claim is included for assemblies of two profiles connected by the bracket.
