The Peltier elements function dependent upon the extent and direction of an applied direct current, and either take in heat energy from the room and transfer it to a heat absorption medium (8), or emit heat energy to the room, taking it from a heat radiating medium. The elements are fastened on one side to a heat conductive plate. - A temp. monitoring circuit is installed in the room so affecting the extent and/or direction of the current fed through the Peltier elements that one side of each of the latter has a temp. corresp. to the required level in the room. The other sides of the Peltier elements work in conjunction with the heat absorbing and heat-emitting medium which is fed to the Peltier elements from a location (10) outside the room. |
