PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of scooping phenomenon by inserting a band-shaped sheet member made of propylene into the groove bottom part, in a glass run made of ethylene propylene which is equipped with the groove bottom part onto which the edge surface and side surface of the glass slildingly contact and a sealing lip part and whose sliding contact surface is lubricity- treated. CONSTITUTION:A body part 1 having a channel-shaped sectional surface is equipped with a groove bottom part 3 onto which the edge surface of a glass G slidingly contacts and a sealing lip part 4 onto which the side surface of the glass G slidingly contacts. Each sliding contact surface of the groove bottom part 3 and the sealing lip part 4 with the glass G is lubricity-processed, and each sliding coated film 6, 7 is formed. In the glass run made of ethylene propylene (EPR) having the such constitution, a band-shaped sheet member 11 made of propylene (PP) is inserted into the groove bottom part 3. Therefore, the modulus of the groove bottom part 3 can be made sufficiently high, and even if dust adheres onto each sliding coated film 6, 7, the biting of the edge surface of the glass G and scooping phenomenon due to the deformation of the groove bottom part 3 can be prevented.
