<p>PURPOSE:To obtain non-defective molten steel sheet having less impurities by introducing a coil body of rejected stored steel sheet as main scrap material under a table state being supported with the inside of a converter body and then manufacturing steel. CONSTITUTION:A coil body 13 of said steel sheet having a specified width 16, 500-2,400mm and a specified external diameter 17, 800-2,400mm is put quietly into the furnace bottom side of the converter without giving any shock to the internal surface of the inclined furnace body. Then, necessary molten iron 15 is poured above the coil body 13 so that prescribed molten iron 15 takes a molten iron ratio 80-95% to return the converter body 14 in a regular state. Required additive is introduced into the converter body 14 under such a condition to conduct regular steel manufacturing by oxygen blast. Since a coil body having a clear chemical component and a fixed material quality and performance is used as scrap in this invention, adequate adjustment of molten steel component can be easily conducted under a high stability. It is possible to obtain non-defective molten steel having less impurities by selection and combination of coil bodies.</p> |
