PURPOSE:To facilitate the movement of a position pin by rotatably supporting a bush having a slit groove on the periphery of a shift lever main body, rotating the bush, and matching the slit groove with the position pin supported on the shift lever main body. CONSTITUTION:A shift lever 1 is provided with a position pin 3 hooked on a position plate 2 and a lever main body 5 having a long hole 4 through which the position pin 3 is lifted or lowered. A rod 6 supported liftably in the lever main body 5 and supporting the position pin 3 at its lower end and a control button 9 reciprocatably inserted in a knob 7 supported on the upper end of the lever main body 5 are provided. A bush 10 rotatably supported on the periphery of the lever main body 5 and having a slit groove 11 and a solenoid 13 rotatably supported in the bush 10 are provided. The slit groove 11 is moved as required to be matched with the position pin 3, and the position pin 3 is moved to the other range.
