PURPOSE:To prepare a subject solidifying material, inexpensive and of superior solidifying performance, by containing 15-60pts. of cement, 5-30pts. of type II anhydrous gypsum, 10-60pts. of fine powder metallurgical slag and 5-25pts. of slacked lime or quick lime, respectively as parts by weight. CONSTITUTION:A sewage sludge solidifying material is prepared by containing 15-60pts.wt. of cement, 5-30pts.wt. of anhydrous gypsum, 10-60pts.wt. of fine powder metallurgical slag and 5-25pts.wt. of slacked lime and/or quick lime. As for the manufacturing method of said solidifying material, metallurgical slag manufactured as a by-product of steel manufacturing and refining process is crushed preferably down to 2,000-6,000cm<3>/g. Then, type II anhydrous gypsum and slacked lime and/or quick lime are blended at a given ratio and crushed. Cement can be mixed simultaneously with these, or blended and mixed separate ly. The solidifying material thus prepared can solidify sewage sludge of high water content with high performance by making very fine metallurgical slag and type II anhydrous gypsum coexist in the presence of CaO and separating dendrites of ettringite after coming in contact with water. |
