PURPOSE:To enhance the stability of a vehicle during turning by providing an attaching point changing means for changing the positions of vehicle side attaching points of suspension arms which couple between rear wheels and a vehicle body, and by controlling the changing means n accordance with the turn angle of a steering wheel so as to change the toe-in angle of the rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:In rear wheel suspension units 12L, 12R for suspending left and right rear wheels 11 (11L, 11R) from a vehicle body, there are provided wheel support members 13 which rotatably support the rear wheels 11. Further, there are provided a pair of front and rear links 15a, 15b serving as suspension arms which couples the rear wheels 11 swingably in vertical direction to a cross member 14 of a vehicle body through the intermediary of the wheel support members 13 extending widthwise of the vehicle, and struts for damping and restraining the vertical motion of the rear wheels 11. Further, the vehicle side support point of one 15b of the links may be changed in the vertical direction in association with the operation of a hydraulic cylinder 19 as an attaching point changing means so that the toe-in variation characteristic is changed upon a bump of the rear wheels. The hydraulic cylinder 19 is controlled in accordance with ths output of a steering wheel turn angle detecting means 31. |
