PURPOSE:To make ventilation performable forcibly by installing an interconnecting port leading to the air in a timing belt cover so that it may open at a part where a timing leading separates from a pulley or comes nearer to it. CONSTITUTION:In order to interconnect the inside of a timing belt cover 8 to the air, there is provided with an interconnecting port 10. Here this interconnecting port 10 is opened at a part B where a timing belt 7 comes nearer to a large diametral pulley 6 on a camshaft 3 with rotation of the timing belt 7 in an arrow A direction. Since air inside the timing belt cover 8 is thus forced out in the air by compressive action at the part B via the interconnecting port 10, ventilation can be done forcibly. And, at a part C where the timing belt 7 separates from the pulley 6, the interconnecting port 10 is opened, and the air is inhaled by dint of negative pressure be produced at the part C via the port 10 whereby the ventilation can be done in a forcible manner. |
