PURPOSE:To quickly form a mesh plate into a cylindrical mesh ring by providing a side part holding member, a lower part holding member, an upper part holding member, an electrode, a press plate and an electrode chip. CONSTITUTION:A mesh plate is rounded into a cylindrical mesh plate 10a and assembled by an assembly equipment. In this assembly process, with the cylindrical mesh plate 10a held at both sides and one axial point thereof by a pair of side holding members 15 and 15, and held at the lower side by a lower holding member 16, the overlapped part 11 of said plate 10a is placed on an electrode 12. Then a retaining dent is engaged at the end face of the cylindrical mesh plate 10a and a press plate 18 is turned downward to press the overlapped part 11 against the electrode 12. At this time, an up and down part 12a meeting the dent and protruberence parts on the cylindrical mesh plate 10a is formed on the electrode 12, whereby fixing the position of the overlayed part 11. And an electrode chip 13 is inserted through a through-hole in the press plate 18 and welded together with the electrode 12 so that a mesh ring can be assembled. |
