PURPOSE:To improve rust proof capability of a dust core which employs iron as magnetic powder by subjecting the magnetic powder and a molding to a rust proof treatment. CONSTITUTION:Reduced iron powder is employed as magnetic powder, epoxy resin is employed as binder resin, they are weighed at a predetermined mixture ratio, mixed, agitated, compression-molded, thermally cured, and its molding is coated or impregnated with rust preventive such as acrylic rust prevention resin to be rust prevented. This molding is dried to complete a dust core. In this rust prevention, acryl paint is diluted, cured molding 1 is dipped in the diluted solution 4 of acryl paint in a dipping tank 3 by a basket 2 or the like to coat it with the paint, it is then dried, again dipped in the dilute solution of the paint, redried, and cooled to an ambient temperature, thereby completing a dust core. The dust preventive includes benzotriazole, its derivatives, sorbitan monooleate, its derivatives, sodium oleate, ethylamine and its derivatives, etc. |
