PURPOSE:To provide the title method so designed that the amount of yarns of upper and lower packages fitted upright in the supporting cylinder in a double twister are made equal, and the bobbin outer diameter and traverse span of the lower package are respectively made larger than those of the upper package, thereby performing the doubling twisting under a uniform tension. CONSTITUTION:Plural (two) packages 4, 5 are fitted upright in the package- supporting cylinder 1 in a double twister, and the amounts of yarns of the upper package 4 and lower package 5 are made equal. On the other hand, the outer diameters D1 and D2 of the upper and lower bobbins respectively are made so as to be D1<D2, and the corresponding traverse spans L1 and L2 are made so as to be L1<L2. Thus, the yarns of the both packages can be delivered under a uniform tension without mutual entanglement when unwound. |
