Electric water heater has two tanks placed one over another - the upper and the lower one equipped with heat insulation, those are connected by two branch pipes, heating element placed in the lower part of the lower tank, inlet branch pipe for cold water supply and outlet branch pipe for hot water collection. The upper and the lower tank are placed inside the common body filled with heat insulation and are arranged in shape with elongation in horizontal direction. At that the connecting branch pipes connect the bottom of the upper tank and the upper wall of the lower tank, the inlet branch pipe for cold water supply is placed in the bottom of the lower tank and is equipped with back valve and splitter installed in the cavity of the lower tank, and the inlet branch pipe for collection of hot water is placed in the upper section of the upper tank.
