A connector for assembling furniture has a round housing with an inner rotating securing ring, fitted into one board, and which grips and tensions a connecting shaft fitted into a second board. Rotating the inner ring tensions the connection. The rotating connector is made of three plastic components; two outer parts which clip together using ratchet grips, and an inner rotating part which is clamped between the two outer parts. The three components can be made in a single injection moulding and separated after moulding. The connecting shaft can also be plastic moulded, and made in the same injection moulding process. |
