<p>Bodies for heating, for example electric sealing jaws, are produced according to the present invention by a method which includes compaction and densification or consolidation of pulverulent, metallic material in a mould. The mould (6) is first supplied with the pulverulent material (10) which is compacted, as well as treated with an impregnating solution (12). Thereafter, the body (2) is heated to dry the solution and to sinter the pulverulent material. The method gives a dense body possessing superior thermal conductivity.</p> |
