The method for diagnosing the chronic cholecystitis in the patients with diabetes mellitus comprises the ultrasonic examination of the peritoneal cavity and the assay for blood serum fibronectin. The thickness of the walls of gall bladder exceeding 3 mm and the blood serum fibronectin content of 714.3-814.4 ?g/ml are indicative of the chronic cholecystitis.
