PURPOSE:To rear when a maintenance person desires, to display it on a display circuit and to improve the reliability of an apparatus by providing an alarm history memory having nonvolatile memory function for sequentially storing alarm information in a printer itself. CONSTITUTION:An operator or a maintenance person pushes a read switch 5 when he desires to read alarm information. When the read switch 5 is pressed, its signal is fed to an alarm history memory control circuit 6, which reads the content of an alarm history memory 7, and feeds it to an alarm information display circuit 8. The alarm information display circuit 8 displays the content of the alarm history memory 7, and the operator or the maintenance person can notify the alarm history. Accordingly, maintenance work can be performed under optimum conditions. |
