The method uses a call-group address entered by a calling subscriber for providing a connection with one or more group terminals (B,C) of a common subscriber group, with conversion of a group alias address into a group transport address for a proxy function (PROXY), used for setting up the call connection to the first group terminal responding to the connection request.
