METHOD FOR REPRESENTING A POLYZONAL DIGITAL AEROSPACE PICTURE ON A COLOR DISPLAY

The proposed method for representing a polyzonal digital aerospace picture on a color display is distinctive by sequentially determining the differences of the brightness of the image elements of the object and the background, the differences of the contrast coefficients of the image and the background, or the differences of contrast coefficients of the image of the object. The data so obtained are used for determining the color contrast between the elements of the image and the background when displaying the picture. The advantage of the proposed method is enhanced quality in displaying aerospace pictures.
