The clockwork motor is enclosed in a housing made of plastics. The housing is made in two parts (1,2) which clip together with snap action claws (2n). One part has an integrally formed inner housing of cylindrical form, which receives the spring (7). The inner end (7a) of the spring (7) is fastened in a slot (6a) in the shaft (6) which supports the spring. The shaft (6) is supported at each end in holes in the housing walls and has a square axial hole (6c) to receive the key which winds up the motor. The power of the spring (7) is transmitted through a gear train to the output shaft (4). USE - Children's toys.
