The present invention refers to a probe for gastrotomy feeding (1), which comprises an attached inner fixing system including a balloon (2) integrated into the outer wall of the probe (1); a mobile outer fixing button (4); a feeding system (5) having a feeding connector with a luer female-type terminal or the like (6) that is directly connected into standard syringes or the like; a plug having a plastic tape or a strip to be attached to the feeding system (7) for both obstructing the feeding entrance when needed and warranting the probe hygiene; an inflatable system with a plastic valve (8) for introducing water into the inner retention balloon (2); an open tip converging into a 45 degrees blunt and chamfered end (9) useful for avoiding the excessive built-up of food residues. The invention further refers to a probe body (3) and a method for placing the same.
