PRODUCTS DERIVED FROM THE VINIFICATION RESIDUES OF CULTIVATED PLANTS BELONGING TO THE VITIS VINIFERAE SPECIES FOR PRODUCING COSMETIC PRODUCTS, FOOD SUPPLEMENTS AND BIO-ACTIVE FOODSTUFFS

Extracts derived from the vinification sub-products of a plant belonging to the Vitis viniferae species with the assistance of chromatographic techniques are prepared and bioactive products chiefly consisted of the polyphenolic compounds of the residues are received. After the phenolic derivatives are isolated and their acquisition in pure form accomplished, there are followed the depiction of their structure by use of spectroscopic techniques and the determination of the percentage participation of each product in the extract. After the results processing, there is found that both -extracts of residues and isolated molecules- have demonstrated significant antioxidant activity what legitimates their utilization in reducing the oxidation strain of cells.
