FIELD: the invention refers to using of a laser emitter for scanning curved surfaces. ^ SUBSTANCE: a light of beam from a laser emitter is directed on the scanned surface. The forming of conical light surface is made by rotating of laser emitter for making on the scanned surface an image in the shape of a ring and the form of the surfaces is determined by shifting the ring along the surface with interpolation of points' height which are determined according to stated correlation. ^ EFFECT: scanning of long-length and large dimension surfaces. ^ 2 dwg
