A thermoplastic resin for producing shaped articles is disclosed which is excellent in transparency, permanent antistatic properties, and mechanical characteristics. Specifically, a transparent resin composition is disclosed which is composed of at least one block polymer (A) selected from the group consisting of specific block polymers (A1) and (A2), and a transparent resin (B). The difference between the refractive index of (A) and that of (B) is not more than 0.01.
