Cosmetic composition (I) (preferably capillary) in a medium, comprises at least a cationic tensio-active, fatty alcohol and a diol having 6 carbon atoms, where the ratio of the concentrations (by weight) of: fatty alcohol/cationic tensio-active is higher or equal to 1; cationic tensio-active/silicone is higher or equal to 0.85; and fatty alcohol/silicone is higher or equal to 2. An independent claim is also included for a process of cosmetic treatment of hair, comprising applying (I) on the hair.
