FIELD: equipment for displaying of works of arts such as picture canvases framed in ornamental moldings. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus has non-stretchable threads provided with blocking members positioned thereon and tightened in vertical or inclined position. Threads are adapted for retaining by means of fastening devices on wall and ceiling, or on ceiling and floor of exhibition pavilion in said vertical or inclined position. Each blocking member is made in the form of elastically deformable plate. Paired apertures provided on inclined strips of elastically deformable plate are adapted for receiving of non-stretchable thread. Picture frame retaining slot is provided on vertical strip of elastic member. Means for fastening of non-stretchable thread on ceiling is made in the form of profiled member with apertures on vertical strip for positioning upper branch of thread in pairs of apertures and in apertures on horizontal floor of exhibition pavilion. Non-stretchable thread is made U-shaped, with upper part thereof being arranged in paired apertures of fastening means for fastening on ceilings. Ratio of diameter of non-stretchable thread and diameters of apertures on inclined strips of blocking member constitutes 1:(4-8). Means for fastening lower ends of non-stretchable threads on floor of exhibition pavilion is made in the form of bent profile with apertures on horizontal strips for receiving of tension screw and for fixing in floor of exhibition pavilion. Screw is provided with axial opening wherein bent end of non-stretchable thread is inserted. ^ EFFECT: provision for reliable hanging of frames for displaying of pictures, reduced labor intensity, and decreased time for arranging exposition. ^ 7 cl, 8 dwg
