<p>The distributor consists of a conveyor belt (1) to move the forage or straw (e.g. in a round bale) towards an unroller/decompacter (2A, 2B) with spikes or blades, driven by an endless belt (3) linked to a rotating part (e.g. a motor shaft or tractor) (4). It is equipped with a system (5, 6, 7) that controls the conveyor belt stop/start action and/or direction of movement depending on the force applied to the unroller/decompacter. The distributor is basically in the form of a rolling container that holds the baled forage or straw. The container is supported by a conveyor belt which carries the material to the unroller/decompacter. A dispenser (e.g. in the form of a blower) then ejects and supplies the material to its point of use. An independent claim is included for a system which automatically detects dysfunctions affecting the unroller/decompacter of the livestock feed or bedding straw distributor.</p> |
