FIELD: polymerization processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: objective of invention is developing improved method for solid-phase polymerization of low-molecular weight prepolymer of dicarboxylic acid dihydroxyester requiring less solid-phase polymerization time and allowing use lesser amounts of metal catalyst, wherein metal is the one less environmentally injurious than commonly present tin or germanium.
