The aperture allows direct communication with waveguide whilst ensuring protection of internal circuits. The box for electrical or electronic circuits includes a base (2) in which there is an aperture (4) for the transmission of high frequency signals from the internal circuit to the outside, or vice versa. The aperture (4) is closed on its inner surface by a substrate (5) on which an aerial element (8) is mounted for the transmission and reception of high frequency signals. The aperture is hermetically sealed by a small inserted disc (7) which is thinner than the material of the box itself. The space between the circuit board and this disc forms a resonant cavity which is advantageous in the operation of the aerial. A wave guide tube (6) may be attached to the outside of the electrical box to receive or transmit HF signals in co-operation with the aerial. |
