FIELD: medicine, microbiology, clinical practice. ^ SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes determination of pectin antioxidant activity (AOA) by chemiluminescent method and on the base of AOA pectin bactericidal properties are evaluated, wherein increased AOA indicates increased bactericidal properties.
