PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable multi-pass recording by a preferable pass count over the entire recording medium, regardless of the restrictions of transfer quantities in the front end region or the rear end region of the recording medium, even when the number of used nozzles of the recording head is changed, in an inkjet recorder executing the multi-pass recording. SOLUTION: The inkjet recorder includes a first recording mode to execute recording in which the N0 pieces of nozzles in arranged nozzles are used, the sub-scanning quantities are made to be the n0 pieces of nozzles less than N0 and the value P0 obtained by dividing the N0 by the n0 is made to be the number of times of the main scanning, and a second recording mode for the front and rear regions to execute recording in which the N1 pieces of nozzles less than N0 are used, the sub-scanning quantities are made to be the n1 pieces of nozzles less than N1, and the value P1 larger than the value Q1 obtained by dividing the N1 by the n1 is made to be the number of times of the main scanning.
