PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain and install the setting information and driver of home network equipment from a management server present on a wide area network. SOLUTION: The storage part 6 of the home network equipment 5 holds a lent address notified from a gateway device 3 and its own equipment information URL, and the control part 10 of the gateway device 3 acquires the setting information and driver of the home network equipment 5 by accessing the management server 2 on the basis of the equipment information URL acquired from the home network equipment 5, sets the home network equipment 5 and installs the driver. The management server 2 is provided with an equipment setting data base 15 stored with the setting information and the driver related to the equipment information URL of the home network equipment 5.
