PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which detects a water leak from a cooling unit to eliminate the effect of the leak on a transmitter or peripheral equipment. SOLUTION: The electronic device comprises a power amplifier 109, the cooling unit which has cooling pipes 105, 113 that are connected to cool the power amplifier 109 and pumping means 102 that pressure circulates a coolant through the cooling pipes 105, 113, a pan 115 which receives the coolant leaking from the cooling unit, a water leak detector which is disposed on the inner end of the pan 115, a control unit 117, and an alarming means.
