PURPOSE:To simplify the separation test of a macrocell by a counter signal for a part of a signal to be inputted from the outside of a microcomputer and removing also a sequence circuit such as a latch circuit element. CONSTITUTION:This microcomputer is provided with an AND gate (AND) for inputting an external clock signal CKO and a test mode signal TM as a substitute of a test signal input terminal TTD and a test signal generating circuit 9 having a counter circuit CT for inputting an AND output signal and outputting a counter output signal. Namely, a counter output signal SC obtained by counting up an external clock signal CKO during the input period of the signal TM is inputted to a user macrocell 12 instead of a testing external signal inputted from the TTD. Thus, the separation test of the user macrocell can be simplified. |
