PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostriction-type pressure sensor which can properly reduce hysteresis of the output of a sensor, and to precisely detect a cylinder internal pressure, using such a magnetostriction-type pressure sensor. SOLUTION: The magnetostriction-type pressure sensor 10, as a cylinder internal pressure sensor which is provided to an internal combustion engine 1, is provided with a pair of magnetostrictive films 12a and 12b, having respective magnetic anisotropy and arranged so as to receive the cylinder internal pressure; a detection coil 14 arranged adjacent to the pair of magnetostrictive films 12a and 12b; an excitation coil 15 for forming a magnetic flux passing through the detection coil 14; and a housing 11 for housing the pair of magnetostrictive films 12a and 12b, the detection coil 14, and the excitation coil 15.
