PURPOSE:To provide the electrostatic charge image developing toner with which images having high fineness and high gradation characteristics are obtainable by using the toner formed by pulverizing the colored polyester which is subjected to polycondensation after a coloring agent is previously dispersed into a monomer. CONSTITUTION:The colored polyester can be obtd. by using the monomer dispersed with the coloring agent and bringing the monomer into the polycondensation reaction by the conventional method. The electrostatic charge image developing toner of this invention is obtd. by compounding another binder component and other necessary fine particles, etc., at need with the colored polyester resin compsn. obtd. in the manner mentioned above, dispersing and incorporating these components and particles into the toner by melt kneading to prepare the toner by melt kneading to prepare the toner mixture, mechanically grinding the kneaded material of the toner obtd. in such a manner and adjusting the toner to a desired grain size distribution by a classification operation. Since the toner is polymerized after the coloring agent is dispersed into the monomer and, therefore, the application of strong shearing force on the toner is possible. The color development by the dispersion of the coloring agent equiv. to printing ink is possible. |
