PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of errors caused by moisture in a sampling gas, without reductioin of toluene that is contained in the sampling gas. SOLUTION: Granular magnesium perchlorate 16 is arranged in the middle of a passage reaching a detection unit 20 storing Marquis reagent that generates color reaction by reacting with toluene.
