PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximize depth and inner volume of a drawer storage chamber of a downmost stage, to reduce a projection of topmost stage inner part inside a box for disposing a compressor, and to improve cooling effect inside the box. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a heat insulation box 1 has a first top face part 25 and a second top face part 26 to form a level difference part 26a in a top face part of the refrigerator, the second top face part is disposed with the compressor 16, a duct 43 ventilating cold air is led to an in-box projecting part 40 formed on the in-box side opposite to the level difference part 26a, and cold air ventilation holes 42 communicating with the duct 43 are formed in front of and below the level difference part 26a. Thereby, the projection of a duct part into the box is suppressed to the minimum, storability is improved, the cooling effect inside the box can be improved, and the inner volume and the depth of the storage chamber of the lower stage can be enlarged.
