PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch/brake device realizing the driving operation of a drive shaft by a main drive source and the driving operation of the drive shaft by an auxiliary drive source without enlarging the appearance along the longitudinal direction of the drive shaft. SOLUTION: In the clutch/brake device, the brake housing 3Ba of a combination clutch/brake unit 3 provided at one edge part 2a of the drive shaft 2 is provided with a power transmission member 8 elongating toward the other edge part of the drive shaft, and the power transmission member is linked with the auxiliary drive source via a power transmission means 15.
