PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating booth circulation water in which uncoated paint in the booth circulation water is sufficiently made tack-free, and flocculation/separation and recovery of the uncoated paint can be performed simply and efficiently even if both water base paint and oil paint are present in the booth circulation water in a wet coating booth. SOLUTION: The method for treating the booth circulation water comprises loading a cationic coagulant and amino resin acid colloid in the booth circulation water in the wet coating booth.
