PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mend an embroidery pattern having a missing part to a good appearance by providing a sequin in an accurate position in restarting an embroidery machine. SOLUTION: When the sequin S is dropped from the embroidery pattern in the process of working, a worker operates a mending switch after stopping an embroidery machine 1. A control device retrieves the sewing data on the already performed sewing for a control signal SJ having a sequin supply command, and returns an embroidery frame 8 to a position designated by the control signal ST which is the next signal ahead of the signal SJ. The mending switch is operated once or two or more times to position the supply starting point of the sequin S immediately behind the sewn sequin S, and then the embroidery sewing machine 1 is restarted to sew a sequin S on the dropped part of the embroidery pattern.
