PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in coloring power and transparency with respect to a toner passed through a step of dispersing a colorant in an organic medium. SOLUTION: The toner passed through a step of dispersing a colorant in an organic medium contains at least a monoazo pigment composition in which a pigment derivative having a specified structure is mixed with the objective monoazo pigment.
