PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor-state discriminator capable of discriminating the states of a plurality of sensors by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The sensor-state discriminator has each photo detector 27a to 27c for a plurality of sensors 17 to 19 and a plurality of resistors 20 to 22 being connected in series with the photo detectors and having different resistance values, a signal conductor 15 to which each photo detector 27a to 27c for a plurality of the sensors 17 to 19 and the resistors 20 to 22 connected in series with the photo detectors are connected, and a storage means for storing informations regarding the states of a plurality of the sensors 17 to 19 in response to a voltage value. The sensor-state discriminator further has a discriminating means for reading the informations regarding the sensors 17 to 19 corresponding to the voltage value of the signal conductor 15, generated in response to the synthetic resistance value of the resistors connected in series with the conducted photo detectors in a plurality of the resistors 20 to 22 from the storage means and discriminating whether or not the photo detectors are conducted regarding a plurality of each sensor 17 to 19.
