PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of preventing the leakages of personal informations such telephone directory data gained from other communication devices or the like. SOLUTION: A stationary-telephone control unit 18 detects a connection to the telephone line of a stationary telephone 10 at a step S1 and the connection of a portable telephone 20 at the step S2. In the control unit 18, the telephone-directory data are received from the portable telephone 20, and the received telephone data are stored in a stationary-telephone data storage 191 at the step S4 when a transmission is indicated by utilizing the telephone data of the portable telephone 20 at the step S3. The stationary-telephone control unit 18 transmits the data in a transmission-objective name and a transmission-objective classification at the step S6 when a user selects and defines the transmission-objective name and the transmission-objective classification at the step S5. The stationary-telephone control unit 18 erases the telephone-directory data stored in the stationary-telephone data storage 191 at the step S8 when the user completes a communication and the telephone line is cut at the step S7.
