PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcasting receiving apparatus in which the search operation of an HDD at starting is shortened and which is excellent in handleability, its recording method and an information recording device therefor. SOLUTION: The broadcast receiving apparatus is provided with a tuner part receiving a broadcasted program, an EPEG decoder 126 converting a signal from the tuner part to a prescribed format, and a hard disk drive (HDD) 300 recording the converted digital signal. The HDD medium 310 of the HDD 300 receiving and recording the broadcast program is separated into a stream region 312 storing stream data being video and voice signals and a control data region 311 storing control data other than the stream data, and further, each of them is formatted with the prescribed unit.
